Wire Eroder Salary dependent on experience Location Tamworth We are working with a recognised and renowned precision engineering group of businesses in the Tamworth area that...Wire Eroder Salary dependent on experience Location Tamworth We are working with a recognised and renowned precision engineering group of businesses in the Tamworth area that are looking for a Wire Eroder on a permanent contract with an immediate start. Wire Eroder responsibilities: - Working from detailed drawings, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component/manufacturing specifications. - Able to set, program, edit, operate and run both Wire and Spark EDM machines. - Inspect parts to very tight tolerances using manual hand tools such as micrometers and dial indicators. - Use experience to determine the best practice machining methods for each part. Wire Eroder requirements: - Must have extensive knowledge of CNC EDM Agie Charmilles Robofil and Roboform machines. - Can program with Edgecam software although training will be provided if not familiar with this system. - Requires a minimum of three years trade training or equivalent experience and two to four years of related machining experience. - Analytical approach to problem solving, and the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
