The Role: As a Junior Practice Accountant, you will assist in various accounting tasks and support the overall accounting process. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns. Support the preparation and filing of corporation tax returns. Help compile and review year-end accounts. Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role. At least 1-2 years of experience in a UK accounting practice. Knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax regulations. ACCA part-qualified or currently working towards it. Familiarity with bookkeeping, VAT, corporation tax, and year-end accounts. Proficiency in accounting software such as Digita, Xero, and Sage.
