In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, service, and warranty work of powered access equipment across various sites in Manchester, Merseyside, and Chester. As a mobile engineer, you will travel to different locations to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure minimal downtime of equipment. - Conduct safety checks and ensure all equipment meets industry standards and safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including parts used and time spent on tasks. - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all clients are satisfied with the work carried out and any issues are promptly addressed. - Work independently and manage your time effectively to cover the designated areas efficiently. - Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations at all times. Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience as a Powered Access Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ideally 8+ Years. - Relevant technical qualifications and certifications in powered access equipment maintenance and repair. - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - A valid UK driving license is essential.
