Director of EngineeringLocation: Vancouver, BCSalary: 90,000 - 95,000Located in the heart of the city, my client is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee and enhance the maintenance and operational efficiency of their luxury property. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and implement innovative solutions to uphold the hotel's high standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Stay informed and adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.Ensure superior standards are consistently maintained daily.Act as the Director of Engineering in their absence and collaborate with the Executive Team to achieve the hotel’s goals.Oversee the hotel's maintenance and preventative maintenance program.Maintain division standards and control objectives.Establish and implement annual objectives for the Engineering department.Provide continuous training and development to ensure team skills are up to date.Respond to daily work orders promptly, ensuring proper follow-up and completionKey RequirementsMinimum 5 - 10 years expereince in a similar position for a luxury propertyStrong familiarity with project management and collaborative softwareProven knowledge of a variety of heating and cooling systemsAbility to design and impliment operating standards and proceduresStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire and local mechanical codesIf you’ve always wanted to work in paradise - please send your resume to Declan todayNOTE: Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be considered, and candidates must have the right to live and work in the USA to be consideredAbout COREcruitmentCOREcruitment are experts in recruiting for Hospitality, Catering, Leisure, Retail, FM, Property and Construction sectors.
