This position will offer the right candidate an fantastic opportunity to join an employer who values its workforce. We’re currently seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead warehouse operations for the afternoon shift. The role involves optimizing safety, quality, and productivity whist meeting company targets. Responsibilities include efficient management, ensuring customer requirements are met, and maintaining industry standards. Working hours: Mon – Thurs, 10.30 am – 9 pm. Shift manager Benefits: Starting Salary £38,500 + Annual bonus payment25 days annual leave + BH’s pro-rated in the current year. We are increasing the holiday entitlement for warehouse employees from next year so everyone will be on 25 days + BH’s. We do have a company Christmas shutdown so employees are required to save three days of their annual leave entitlement for that two days if they are working the PM shift.Pension scheme age dependent – 4 Er contribution and 4 Ee contribution.Life Assurance Scheme Death in Service – 4 x annual salary.Company sick pay – four weeks full pay and four weeks half pay.EV Car Scheme – eligible to join after probationary period.Cycle2Work Scheme – eligible to join after probationary period.Free social events Christmas party etc. Shift manager Accountabilities and Responsibilities: To ensure that material is received and despatched efficientlyTo ensure Health & Safety Legislation is followed and safe working practises are encouragedAssist in planning warehouse resource to ensure demands are metAssist in Operations Department when required, dealing with in-coming material, delivery notes and test certificatesAssist QESH Manager in quality checksMaintain and manage control of stock and traceability Shift manager Skills & Key Competencies: Good knowledge of Safe working practices and environmental administration experienceAn understanding of, and can apply, modern manufacturing techniques including Lean manufacturingExperience of the demands of leading a shift with limited contact time with direct supervisor, and can demonstrate excellence in maintaining the highest standards of safety, productivity and disciplineExperienced in Slinging & Crane HandlingHold an up-to-date Fork-lift Truck Licence & Side loader CertificatePractical knowledge of EHS, be able to conduct Risk Assessments, create Safe Working PracticesIdeally IOSH certified The Shift manager role is based in Bradford If you wish to apply for the Shift manager position, please contact Conor Wood at E3 Recruitment on 01484 645 269
