We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Parent and Family Worker, on a 2 -month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £14.41 - £18.25 per Hour Responsibilities: To work to deliver the targets set down in the service and team business plan To complete specialist assessments of children, young people, parents, carers and families in line with service guidance To plan and deliver structured packages graduated parenting interventions to children, young people, parents, carers and families in line with service guidance To keep timely and accurate records of work, including running records and the entry of data as specified To attend Multi agency meetings Qualifications: To hold 5 GCSEs at level A*-C (including English) or equivalent An understanding of child development, effective parenting and attachment theory Experience of delivering groupwork in a variety of settings Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
