Delivery Driver Class 2 Rate: 13.80hrOvernight Allowance: £25Bonus: Competitive colleague bonusJob Type: Permanent Delivery Driver Class 2 - The Role:A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a delivery driver within the Timpson Group. As a Class 2 qualified driver, your role will be to drive a rigid vehicle with tail-lift. You will be responsible for the reliable and safe delivery of vending machines to locations throughout the UK. The role will involve extensive travel, with regular nights away. Delivery Driver Class 2 - Key responsibilities: Driving a 7.5 t rigid vehicle with tail-lift. Delivery of vending machines to pre-agreed destinations nationwide. Working alongside regional field engineers to off-load and position machines using a hand pallet truck and Scoots. Ensure you are following the correct loading procedure and review on occasion to ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. Liaise with IT department to resolve any technical issues that may arise during install. Comply with all traffic laws, driver regulations and Health & Safety procedures. Ensure drivers hours & working time directive are followed and documented. Keep vehicle in tidy and presentable condition at all times. Carry out all appropriate vehicle maintenance checks and report faults as necessary. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties that may be required by the company. Delivery Driver Class 2 - You: Valid driving licence Class 2 A positive can do attitude A great personality Smart appearance Timpson is a true equal opportunities employer.
