SOLID DOSAGE SPECIALIST NORTH YORKSHIRE Competitive Rate Blackfield Associates are currently supporting a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation to recruit for a Solid Dosage Specialist to join the organisation initially on a 24:month FTC basis. There is potential for the role to be made permanent. Reporting to the Head of MS and T, the core function of the role is to provide technical support for executing new product commercialisation projects (scale:up) from Product Development. Some of the key responsibilities include: * Identifying potential process improvement for existing commercial products and supporting implementation of changes after management approval * Leading problem solving and resolution efforts * Assisting in new equipment evaluation * Assisting in activities for successful transfer of new equipment to production * Taking project leadership for the technical activities involved in the commercialisation of internal products * Assisting in the technical assessment of products / projects * Assisting in implementing the product life cycle program * Proactively identify and troubleshoot formulation and process type issues of products manufactured internally To be considered for the role candidates must have: * A degree in life sciences, engineering, pharmaceutics, chemistry or a similar field * Industrial experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry with knowledge of pertinent Regulatory and Industry guidances and regulations * The ability to design, develop and implement effective technical transfer and product lifecycle strategies for various dosage forms (solids, liquids, gels, terminal sterilisation etc.) * An understanding of the dosage form development process * Hands on knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment * Supervisory experience would be beneficial In order for this role please forward your CV to or call Melissa on +44 (0) 322 306 for further details.
