We will provide you with excellent training and development to help you succeed and develop your career within this fantastic organisation. Through the use of technology, engineering design and construction you will be involved with ensuring that over 1000 ITS assets, which includes traffic signals, variable message signs and CCTV, work efficiently and safely to keep Hampshire's road network running. Whilst also being involved in new scheme designs, traffic modelling and assisting the Traffic and Travel Information Centre. As an ITS Technician, you will be assisting engineers in managing all aspects of traffic control and information systems throughout Hampshire, providing comprehensive, real:time traffic and travel information to transport users and residents of Hampshire. As part of the role you will also have the potential to undertake a Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician Apprenticeship based at Southampton Solent and lasting 36 months.
