Trade Supervisor Basildon GBP 41,603 : GBP 43,793 per year 40 hours per week We are looking for a Trade Supervisor to join our team based in Basildon. As Trade Supervisor you will coordinate between the Operations manager and your team on a daily basis to plan the operative's workload to be completed as per the Void and Responsive program. A company van will be provided for company use and the role will have opportunities to develop your career further. The role of Trade Supervisor will include: : Managing ateam of Trade Operatives across multiple sites, ensuring that high quality work is carried out: Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times : Completing site surveys and meeting with clients to continuously improve our services: Processing orders for materials and managing resources effectively: Working to a high standard and meeting set KPIs: Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers: Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in services: Assisting with the recruitment, performance management and development of staff Skills and experiences: :To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership), NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject and have STAR Training or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application : A track record of working or supervising void or responsiveworks on site within a social housing or similar construction environment: Demonstrable experience of managing/supervising staff within a responsive maintenance environment: Previous experience in project management: Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation: Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (or similar): This role will involve drivingon company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications.
