JOB: Technical ManagerLOCATION: SpaldingTERM: PermanentSALARY: GBP 55,000 to GBP 65,000 per annum My client designs and manufactures a range of special purpose machinery for various sectors. They are looking to expand their team by taking on a Technical Manager to work in their offices in Spalding. The Technical Manager will ideally have the following attributes: : Knowledge/Experience in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering : Engineering qualificationin Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar : Proven experience in managing engineering teams and projects : Strong understanding of special purpose machinery design and manufacturing processes : Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, or similar) : Excellent problem:solving skills and attention to detail : Strong leadership and communication skills (both verbal and written) : Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously : Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite : Willingness to travel when required The Technical Manager role will involve: : Leading and managing the current engineering team : Overseeing the design and development of products : Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget : Design, test and implement PLC, BMS and control systems : Coordinating with other departments (e.g., sales, production) to ensure project requirements are met : Conducting technical reviews and providing guidance to the engineering team : Implementing and maintaining engineering best practices and standards : Preparing and presenting project reports : Supporting business development activities by providing technical expertise and input If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up:to:date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
