Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor Location: Coalville Salary: A GBP 40,000 per annum Job type: Full Time : Permanent. What we are looking for: Board24 is currently looking for a highly driven individual with a passion for Health and Safety to lead our Make it safe mission at our Coalville site. This is a hands:on role, working closely with site leaders and site personnel to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues and deliver best practice throughout the site. The successful candidate will have a history of driving Health and Safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment and must be proactive with an inquisitive nature. Delivering our mission may involve cultural changes therefore, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels to influence change is essential. Other responsibilities will include: * Providing data and reports to site/senior management* Manage the site risk register* Work with the Group HS and E Manager to develop and implement group wide projects and initiatives.* Coach and develop leaders to enable them to improve their approach and performance* Ensure a robust and effective health and safety management system is in place* Undertake investigations of significant incidents* Manage and deliver training programs to develop competencies.* Carry out and maintain relevant site induction program for new starters* Lead on BRC accreditation What we offer: * Excellent development opportunities* 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)* Company Pension* Death in service benefit* Company sick pay* Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption provision* Employee referral scheme* Wellness programmes* Free parking More about us: Operating across three locations in England and Scotland, Board24 have been manufacturing corrugated sheet board for over 30 years.
