Job Title: Building Safety Asset Manager Location: Leeds Salary: GBP59,850 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025. Leeds Federated is a housing association with around 4,500 properties across Leeds, Wakefield, and North Yorkshire. Our mission is to enable the maximum number of people to access and live sustainably in good:value, affordable housing. The Vacancy: Were looking for an approachable and commercially aware Building Safety Asset Manager to join our Asset Management Team. Youll use your collaboration and communication skills to manage a small, dedicated team and work closely with our Head of Asset Management and other Asset Managers. Youll ensure we deliver a comprehensive building safety service that meets all regulatory and legislative requirements across our homes whilst putting our customers at the forefront of all that we do. In this role, youll need to provide full assurance by taking the lead in having the right suppliers in place as well as effective performance management and reporting arrangements. This means youll need knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. Ideally, youll have: * Commercial awareness * Proven programme management expertise * Strong interpersonal skills * A team leadership approach that encourages excellent performance * A positive approach to collaborative working * Excellent IT skills including Asset Management Systems * Knowledge of Building Safety and regulatory requirements relating to customers homes * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * An understanding of what makes an excellent service for customers.
