Due to expansion an experienced Production Operative is required for a new role working for a well:established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire. The starting rate of pay is A GBP 12.00 per hour, rising to A GBP 15.69 per hour after 12 weeks, with the top end rate of pay going to A GBP 16.13 per hour once fully trained. For the first 12 weeks you will be training on day shifts (8.00am:4.30pm), but after 12 weeks you will move onto a rotating 6:2/2:10 shift. As a Production Operative, you will be required to: * Putting manufactured components through the next stage of manufacturing* Checking the parts against technical drawings* Ensuring the machines are running correctly* Addressing any quality issues with the manufacturing department* Ensured that all components meet the required customer standard before they progress to production. for this Production Operative role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Previous experience with Sheet Metal, Stainless Steel or Aluminium* Good numerical skills* Experience with technical/engineering drawings If youre looking to make a positive impact and create change, possessing an inclusive and committed approach, youll be rewarded with a generous pay rate.
