Role: Yard Person with CounterbalanceLocation: AppledoreContract: Temp to PermPay Rate: GBP11.44 per hour (increasing to GBP11.68 per hour) Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Yard Person / Counterbalance Forklift Operator on a temporary to permanent basis.Transport is preferred due to location. Main Duties:* Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products* Transport materials and products to designated areas in the warehouse* Stack and organise products in the warehouse* Operation of baler* Inspect forklifts and perform routine maintenance checks* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment* Some customer facing contact required (members of the public and client HGV driving staff) Experience:* Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment* Valid forklift operator certification* Proficient in operating counterbalance forklifts* Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast:paced environment Please call the branch on for more information or apply online today Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
