Job Title Venue Director Salary: A GBP 85,000 : A GBP 90,000 + Bonus Location: Midlands We are seeking an experienced and visionary Venue Director to join the leadership team and drive the strategic direction at a multi:purpose large scale venue in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior management, with extensive experience in the food and beverage sector. This role requires a strategic leader who can shape the long:term vision, enhance our market position, and ensure sustained growth and excellence. The Role: * Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan, focusing on growth and innovation* Set the vision for the venue, aligning with company goals and market trends* Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team promoting a positive and collaborative environment* Enhance the venues brand and reputation through innovative food and drink offerings, unique events, and exceptional guest experiences* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams* Provide strategic oversight of financial planning, budgeting, and performance* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders* Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging market opportunities The Ideal Candidate: * Senior leadership experience within retail, hospitality, events and catering* Sports and leisure background preferred* Significant experience in food and beverage operations* Background working within high:volume or multi:faceted sites* Strategic vision and leadership with a proven ability to drive business growth* Strong financial acumen and experience with high:level budget management.* Excellent relationship:building and stakeholder management skills* Innovative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
