They are part of a global group with multiple sites in the UK and are looking for an mechanically biased shift engineer to join the team Role and Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance of all high:speed production and packaging machinery * Electrical and mechanical fault finding, problem solving and repairs * Continuous improvement projects * Dealing with motors, servo drives, contactors, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, inverters * Management of stores, ordering of spares and parts when needed * Upkeep and alteration of electrical and mechanical drawings Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Must be an mechanically biased engineer * NVQ Level 3 electrical engineering or maintenance minimum * Ideally have worked in some form of fast:paced / FMCG manufacturing industry * Must have completed a time:served:apprenticeship * Strong electrical and mechanical problem solving skills * Knowledge of PLCs, automation and control systems, HMis beneficial * Must be able to do fault finding in control panels * Continuous improvement mentality * Willingness to help in all areas of the team * Worked on motors, inverters, VSDs, sensors, switches, pneumatics, gearboxes * Ideally have worked with high:speed production and packaging machinery please / resume to ( ). : Chris Gumm : 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click apply.
