Her at Strata Consulting, we are assisting our well:established design consultancy search for a gifted and well:driven Structural/Civil Technician to join their Manchester office. You will work closely with talented engineers and technicians on a variety of medium sized projects. You will work closely with other design team members to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions. What Is on Offer? * Work on multi:million:pound projects covering a wide variety of sectors including rail, pharmaceutical, custodial, healthcare, defence, education and aviation. * An opportunity to guide and support junior technicians. * Benefits include: * Car/ Travel Allowance * Discount scheme (including gym membership, mobile phones etc) * Professional development * Family friendly policies * Employee assistance * Flexible working What You Need to Succeed: * HNC level 3 or equivalent in Construction or Civil Engineering * A minimum of three years experience working for a UK design consultancy. * The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual aiming for Eng Tech TMICE in the future * To be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD is essential. * Having had experience in RC Detailing, MicroStation or Civils 3D would be advantageous. * You should possess or be developing knowledge and experience with traditional building materials such as steel, timber, concrete, and reinforced concrete detailing, * To have gained knowledge in comprehensive site:wide infrastructure and earthworks.
