Ecology Manager neeeded, to join my client, a Tier 1 contractor Leading works on the HS2. This role will involve working on the multimillion:pound HS2 contract working across the Buckinghamshire area carrying out ecological surveys and managing the paperwork involved. The chosen candidate will need to be able to drive. This is also a hands:on role in which you will conduct ecological studies and impact assessments across a range of projects and environments to identify and advise how together we can balance the needs of our projects with those of the environment. If this sounds like something you or anyone you know might be interested in, please get in contact now Roles and responsibilities: * To provide ecological support to the Area Wide Environmental team. * Provide ecological technical support to the sector teams. * Review and analysis of ecological data to ensure it is fit for purpose. * Review of licence applications and mitigation method statements for a variety of protected species. * To fulfil the role of ecological technical advisor and provide assurance and ensure compliance with HS2s field surveys method statement, relevant Technical Standards and current legislation. * Liaise with subcontractors, stakeholders and statutory consultees. * Co:ordinate data for ecological mitigation and completion of licence applications. * Site inspection around current mitigation works within the sector assigned. Candidate requirements: * Degree in a related subject, or equivalent * Highly organised and experienced in data collation and technical report:writing * Experience in the civil engineering (desirable) * Line management experience (desirable) If you are interested in this role please apply with your CV or contact Paul Nevin at Randstad CPE : London.
