We are a specialist manufacturer based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist with machining skills and experience of using manual lathes, pillar drill, manual mill and CNC milling machine to join our metal workshop team.We offer an attractive salary including paid overtime when available and benefits package. We also have plenty of free parking available on site and are only a few minutes walk from the local train station.This role will involve the manufacture of components and sub-assemblies from engineering drawings using manual lathes, manual milling machines and CNC G-code mill, so an ability to interpret drawings and specifications as well as excellent manual dexterity are all key.We are looking for motivated Engineers who are comfortable working to high tolerances, have strong problem solving skills, and are able to offer ideas for improvements for both parts and manufacturing processes.Applicants may be currently or previously working as a tool maker, tooling engineer, manual machinist miller / turner / borer, mechanical fitter, or completed a manufacturing apprenticeship.There is some flexibility with start and finish times, but the majority of the team start at 07:00 and finish at 16:00 Monday – Thursday so that they can finish at 13:00 on a Friday.
