Current Opportunity: Director of Client Marketing and Strategy Location: UK Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Hybrid or Remote depending on your proximity to our Ealing, London office. What you will do: The Director of Client Marketing & Strategy will lead a team primarily dedicated to WPO’s largest B2B client, one of the world’s largest global employers, ensuring the effective implementation and utilization of its EAP and holistic wellbeing services across multiple international markets outside the United States. This role will define and own client strategy, manage relationships, and ensure successful project outcomes with a high level of creative and strategic acumen. The Director possesses a creative, strategic mind; but adeptly leads client meetings focusing on influencing and implementing marketing strategy, driving the agenda, and taking ownership of issue resolution. The person filling this position has an integrated communications outlook and can lead a team (direct and virtual) that includes graphic design, content creation, localization/translation, and distribution. The Director will facilitate clear and timely communication, ultimately building a stronger relationship with the client and strengthening its aspiration of becoming the world’s greatest employer. As the role expands, the person will also integrate and align resources across Marketing for WPO’s premiere client group. As a senior member of the Marketing department, the Director is responsible for generating innovative ideas that challenge conventional marketing and operational tactics, thereby encouraging creative and operational teams to pursue disruptive and groundbreaking approaches. Experience working with organisations and audiences in Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Spain, or the United Kingdom is a plus. Responsibilities: Account Leadership: Lead and manage the company’s largest B2B account, ensuring the delivery of high-quality EAP services to client employees worldwide. Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning solutions to meet objectives. Serve as the primary client point of contact for Marketing, providing strategic guidance and ensuring seamless communication. Client Relationship: Develop and implement strategies to enhance client engagement and satisfaction with EAP services and programs. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and training sessions to ensure the client is fully informed and supported. Address and resolve concerns or issues promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Actively manage conflict and solve problems to resolve issues quickly. Demonstrate clear understanding of client business strategy and marketing model, and the communications necessary to deliver against them. Identifies and creates opportunities for growth. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy that aligns with the client’s goals and our business objectives. Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, driving new business development and upselling of additional services. Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership and the client. Innovation & Solution Development: Collaborate with the innovation team to identify and implement new EAP solutions and enhancements that address client needs and industry trends. Lead the customization and adaptation of EAP services to fit the unique cultural and regional requirements of the client's global workforce. Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive. Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive employee engagement and awareness of EAP services. Coordinate with Account Management and Operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery and support of EAP services across different regions. Facilitate collaboration between internal teams to address client issues, resolve challenges, and continuously improve service delivery. Qualifications/Skills: 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or public relations, with expertise in account management, business development, or a related field, preferably with experience in the EAP or HR services industry. Proven track record of successfully managing large B2B accounts and driving strategic initiatives. Innovative thinking – looking beyond the obvious to develop highly engaging ideas and campaigns. Commitment to achieving excellence, lifelong learning, and “hands-on” managerial leadership. Strong understanding of global markets and the ability to adapt solutions to different cultural and regional contexts. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives. Experience working with innovation and marketing teams to develop and implement new solutions. Direct and honest in dealing with others, treating people with respect and fairness. Deals constructively with frustration and stress, maintaining a professional and positive manner. Demonstrated ability in leading and mentoring teams to deliver high-impact marketing solutions. Advanced understanding of customer segmentation, market analysis, and brand positioning. Creative and innovative thinker, with a flair for identifying emerging trends and integrating them into strategies. Experience working in the employee benefits and wellbeing market (preferred). Demonstrated experience operating and marketing under a multi-national footprint (preferred).
