Geotechnical Engineer Reference: BY1388 Salary: GBP26,000 : GBP30,000 Location: Manchester Are you a Geotechnical Engineer, Engineering Geologist or Geo:Environmental Engineer in Manchester seeking your next role in an expanding ground investigation consultancy? With a specialist team of engineers and consultants, over 25 years in the industry and a variety of new projects won around the North West, this company has recently opened this office and are seeking experienced engineers to join the team. Youll be provided with excellent opportunities for engaging work and career progression. The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be: * Assisting with site walkovers. * Carrying out site/ground investigations. * Soil and rock logging. * Preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies. * Write factual and interpretive reports. * Working on in situ testing. * Training and assisting junior team members. The Geotechnical Engineer selected will therefore have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable), have prior experience as a geotechnical or geo:environmental engineer/ engineering geologist and have an ability to show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, live commutable to Manchester and have a full right to work in the UK.
