Town Planner A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Town Planner to join a dynamic and close:knit team of Planners in Edinburgh My client is an independent chartered Town Planning and Development Consultancy currently working to deliver a wide variety of development projects across the UK, on a range of excited projects within residential, retail, tourism, renewable energy, health and education, and rural and heritage. For the ideal candidate, my client is happy to offer a competitive starting salary, as well as an accompanying benefits package You will also be supported in your professional, and personal, development, and provided a mentor towards your APC The current team offer a full supply of planning services and are looking for an ambitious Town Planner to support the existing team. Some of the services provided include strategy and development appraisals, planning applications, appeals and expert witness, representations, community engagement and more Candidate Requirements * RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning, or equivalent qualification. * MRTPI chartership, or working toward the APC. * Previous experience in a planning role. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Up to date knowledge of the Scottish Planning system.
