BASIC SALARY: cA GBP 50,000 BENEFITS:A Company CarA Contributory PensionA Mobile PhoneA 25 days holiday plus Stats LOCATION: Hybrid, Central England COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Wolverhampton, Northampton, Leicester, Worcester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Oxford JOB DESCRIPTION: Procurement Manager : International Packaging Supplier The purpose of this newly created role is to lead the group procurement and supply chain, meeting business targets on stock/service and implementing the pre:agreed supply chain strategy Reporting to the UK Operations Director, you will provide guidance and control all purchasing/procurement activities and contracts to ensure the purchasing services to the group are cost effective and at the required level to satisfy the needs of the group This is a genuine opportunity to bring about change if change is required. As a company, we are open to ideas and would welcome your input KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As our Procurement Manager, your key tasks will include:A Ensuring ESG, H and S and quality compliance from all vendors/suppliers using current systemsA Developing and delivering established purchasing strategiesA Participating in budget setting and taking responsibility for monitoring and controlling the budgeting process for purchased goods, serviced and logisticsA Reviewing and setting SLAs with suppliersA Reach OTIF target for all sitesA Optimising supply chain management with site General Manager, within inventory levels, service and contributing to reducing total costA Contributing to the leadership team for the overall performance of the group within the Central teamA Ensuring that site teams are aware of EHS policies, procedures and standards that are relevant and monitor, evaluate and review compliance of these. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Procurement Manager : International Packaging Supplier We would be very interested to receive applications from Purchasing professionals from the packaging/paper industry, however we are also interested in applications from other manufacturing sectors. As our Procurement Manager, you will: A Ideally be qualified in CIPs/MCIPs.A Be a strong negotiator.A Have a proven track record of leading change initiatives and good project management.A Have knowledge and the ability to assess the Engineering and Supply industries.A Have excellent organizational skillsA Be self:driven, results:oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.A Be able and willing to travelA Be ambitious, credible, and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts. Reliable, tolerant, determined and an empathic communicator, well presented and business like. THE COMPANY:My client delivers high quality and service:oriented packaging to the global market.
