Based in Dorset, delivering solutions to the industry and solving complex engineering challenges. The Role We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to steer the strategic direction of our sales department. Responsibilities: * Manage and expand the sales pipeline * Identify new markets for high:value industrial automation solutions * Ensure an effective sales strategy and foster strong commercial relationships * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scopes and deliver accurate bids * Create compelling, persuasive bid content tailored to client needs * Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Location: * Dorset (with travel across the UK and occasional overseas trips) About You * Proven experience in a senior technical sales role within aerospace or automation, and/or composites. * Successful track record in delivering effective and profitable sales strategies * Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills * Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills * Experience supporting bid processes from start to finish * Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability * Demonstrable leadership skills and team motivation * Ability to understand and convey technical information regarding industrial automation technology and/or robotics.
