Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be assisting with the finance systems and processes required for the integration of a newly acquired company, whilst harmonising systems and processes to drive synergy across our expanding enterprise. Your pivotal role will ensure the smooth execution of financial activities across the IntoWork group, establishing and maintaining best practices that uphold their commitment to excellence in financial management. Key responsibilities include: Assist with the internal migration of a newly acquired organisation by understanding and integrating the systems and processes of both entitiesEnsure the seamless delivery of financial management activities across the IntoWork GroupAdhere to IntoWork's policies and procedures, Australian Standards, and relevant legislative requirementsDevelop and maintain consistency and best practice principles within the finance function to enhance efficiency and controlMeet finance team deadlines with high-quality, accurate transactional accountingDeliver precise financial closures on a monthly basis About You: Sound business knowledge, understand business processes, can display commercial acumen MandatoryExperience in a Labour Hire, Group Training Organisation or in Disability Support Services would be advantageous DesirableExperience with Microsoft Dynamics and Solver Accounting and reporting package DesirableAt minimum an intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs particularly in Excel MandatoryTertiary qualification within a related discipline i.e. Business and Commerce MandatoryPreferably CA/CPA qualifiedA minimum of 5 years in a similar Finance role post-CA/CPA qualificationExcellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships in the extended Finance team, with Business Leaders and ManagersAdaptability, attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving skills are crucial attributes for successExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to maintain effective working relationships and communicate complex matters clearly and succinctly What’s in it for you: Competitive salaryCPA/ CA annual Membership1000 per annum up skilling/ training allowanceFull-time, permanent positionOpportunities for career advancement within IntoWork AustraliaPositive and inclusive culture that supports social and wellbeing initiativesHybrid role 3 days in Office and 2 days at home It is a requirement of the position to undertake a National Police Check & Working with Children Check prior to appointment.This is your chance to be part of a dynamic team that is held in high regards for its employment, skills and support services.
