Integra Education are seeking a Biology Specialist Teacher to start from September 2024, working in a lovely secondary school in the Sefton area, full time, until the end of the academic year, temp-perm positionBiology Specialist Teacher Location: Mixed Comprehensive School, LiverpoolStart Date: September 2024Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Temp-PermDuration: Until the end of the academic year initial 18 weeks through Integra Education, with potential for direct hire by the schoolPay Rate: £200-£250 per day, paid weekly About the Role: Integra Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Specialist Teacher to join a vibrant, high-performing science department at a mixed comprehensive school in Liverpool. This full-time position begins in September 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role after the initial 18-week period. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to secondary school students.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and departmental initiatives.Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required. Requirements: A recognized teaching qualification is essential.Qualified Teacher Status QTS is preferred.Proven teaching experience within a secondary school setting is essential.Enhanced DBS check is essential.Strong ability to engage students and build effective rapports.Commitment to continuous professional development.
