Job Advert: Technical Services Manager (Facilities Management) Contract: 3:6 monthsRate: GBP350:GBP400 per dayLocation: Hybrid (with travel to various sites) About the Role: Our client, a leading company in the facilities management sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager for a 3:6 month contract role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the seamless delivery of technical services across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage technical services across designated facilities, ensuring all operations meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety. * Manage and arrange PPMs * Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the clients operations. * Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and on:site teams to ensure clear communication and effective problem:solving. * Conduct regular site inspections to assess the condition of facilities and identify areas for improvement. * Provide technical expertise and support to the on:site teams, ensuring all technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively. * Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost:effective service delivery without compromising on quality. * Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to maintenance activities and site conditions. Qualifications and Experience: * Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager in the facilities management sector. * Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. * Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide on:site teams. * Exceptional organizational and problem:solving abilities. * Ability to travel to various sites as required. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Relevant qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
