Our global motorcycle manufacturing client is urgently looking to fill the following role: Instrumentation Engineer Motorcycles : Competitive Salary + Benefits : Leicestershire Job Requirement:This position is responsible for the planning and instrumenting of test vehicles that require data logging. Key Responsibilities:Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:: Work with Design and Test Engineers to plan and execute tests.: Design and manufacture any fixtures/bracketry for sensor mountings.: Remotely provide data logging support during testing.: Carry out shakedown of instrumentation.: Basic analysis of data to ensure functionality.: Troubleshoot, maintain and repair data logging systems.: Keep the calibrations up to date for the sensors and data logging systems. Skills Required:: Basic knowledge of CAN: Strain gauges, bridge configuration and application.: Basic knowledge and application of the following sensors: LVDTs and RVDTs, DC and ICP accelerometers, Oil/Fuel/Brake pressure sensors, K:type thermocouples.: Fundamental knowledge of motorcycles and their systems.: Basic electronic component knowledge.: Basic experience working with low voltage DC wiring: Soldering, Crimping, Splicing, etc. The services advertised by Premea Limited for this vacancy are those of an Employment Agency.Premea is a specialist IT and Engineering recruitment consultancy representing clients in the UK and internationally within the Automotive, Motorsport and Aerospace sectors.
