Job Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation of lessons and materials under the guidance of the class teacher. * Support individual pupils and small groups within the classroom, ensuring all pupils receive the attention they need to succeed. * Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. * Implement behaviour management strategies as directed by the class teacher. * Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour. * Assist with administrative tasks such as recording attendance and organising classroom resources. * Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they are fully included in all activities. Preferred Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. * Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for education. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Requirements: * An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this) * Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum. * Excellent planning and organisation skills.
