As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education by supervising classes during the short:term absence of teachers. Job Responsibilities: * Supervise classes of pupils in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. * Deliver pre:prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively. * Provide support to pupils in their learning and maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour. * Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management protocols. * Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders to provide feedback on pupil progress and any issues arising during lessons. * Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well:being and development of all pupils. Preferred Skills: * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. * Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a focused learning environment. * Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups as required. Requirements: * An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this). * Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum. * Excellent planning and organisation skills.
