Job Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in the class. * Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote active learning and ensure progress for all learners. * Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues. * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential. * Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to create a cohesive teaching team and contribute to the wider school community. * Implement effective behaviour management strategies, maintaining high standards of discipline and pastoral care. Preferred Skills: * Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. * Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. Requirements: * Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. * An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this). * Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum. * Excellent planning and organisation skills.
