The Hammersmith and Fulham School Improvement Team are seeking to appoint an experienced education professional to work with primary schools and our maintained nursery settings with a focus on Early Years and KS1 to offer support and challenge to headteachers, senior leaders and governors. The core functions of the post are: :To work as part of a team committed to working towards continuous educational improvement, service development and school leadership support in the Early Years and KS1.:Commitment to delivering innovative ways of working to establish service level agreements, source CPD and curriculum improvement in the Primary Phase.:To further develop effective communication channels, relationships, and collaboration amongst staff and leaders within the local area.:To deliver on the H and F School Improvement Strategy including leading on oversight of some statutory and council priorities such as the Healthy Schools Programme. We are looking for a successful, confident and experienced practitioner with either recent successful senior leadership experience, or school improvement experience in a Local Authority, who can demonstrate effective practice in working with schools to raise pupil achievement and to improve the quality of teaching and leadership and management. Knowledge and understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs, good oral, written, and technology skills, are essential. Hammersmith and Fulham have a strong community of schools with 100 judged to be good or better and pupil achievement above the national averages at statutory assessment points. There is a close partnership between schools and the Local Authority with a shared commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils. This post is offered as a term:time only, permanent position. We welcome hybrid working, travelling across schools in the borough and from our central Hammersmith offices.
