You’ll be supporting our amazing customers to learn independent living skills, maintain a tenancy and achieve their aspirations in life while picking and choosing the shifts you want to work. Typical shift as a bank Supported Living Worker * Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans. * Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able. * Support to attend appointments, take part in hobbies and interests or attend college or work * Supporting customers with their personal care and medication needs outlined in their support plan * Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. * Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to work together with colleagues too. You bring * A Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or are prepared to work towards it! * Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail * Experience of caring for others, you may have worked in care before or have experience of caring for others such as family members or children * Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach * A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising every customer is different Our team You’ll join Emma and our Albion team, we’re super passionate about what we do! Job details * Flexible working hours * We pay £50 per sleep in shift * We’re looking for you to work at Albion House, doing shifts such as sleep shifts, waking nights, day shifts and evening shifts. * Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues. * You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
