The ASB Officer will provide a dynamic and people-focused service across the area, working with tenants, residents, and the local community, and will be committed to addressing and preventing anti-social behaviour through proactive measures and community engagement. The role involves managing ASB cases, investigating complaints, maintaining appropriate records, and overall providing excellent customer service in all areas. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a role involving ASB ManagementKnowledge of housing, civil, and criminal law, including the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime, and Policing Act 2014Ability to take responsibility for own safety and create a safe working environmentEmpathetic and respectful towards residents/customers, value diversityAbility to work positively within their own team and the wider teamAbility to use initiative when operating alone and works well under pressure Role Expectations Manage ASB cases, including supporting complaints, completing risk assessments, investigating allegations, and taking appropriate action to resolve issuesConduct interviews with complainants, witnesses, and alleged perpetratorsTake appropriate action against perpetrators of ASB, ensuring the safety of the complainantsWork alongside the local Council’s Housing Options Centre providing alternative and emergency accommodation for high risk casesPrepare statements for court and attend court where necessaryAttend evictions where necessaryMonitor CCTV and noise recording equipment, keeping in compliance with relevant legislationLiaise with external partner agencies and work collaborativelyWork flexibly, including attending evening and occasional weekend meetings If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please send your CV now for consideration.
