Job Title: Business Operations ManagerReporting to: DirectorWorking Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and additional hours) Salary: Competitive based on knowledge, skills & experience Company: E Media GroupLocation: Head Office – IG2 7BS A Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of a company or organization. They play a crucial role in ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. The Role: Collaborate with senior leadership and directors to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives. To collate and interpret finds of market research and present results to management Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans as needed. Identify areas for operational improvement and efficiency gains, then implement changes and monitor their effectiveness. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance targets to track and measure the success of operations. To establishan appropriate quantitative and qualitative market research methodology and prepare Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial resources to ensure financial sustainability and profitability. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of operations such as achievements, challenges, and recommendations. Manage and streamline all aspects of the organization's daily operations to ensure smooth functioning. Skills: To possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and technology tools for operations management. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards. Able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders To work well under pressure and meet deadlines To be people oriented and results driven To excellent active listening, negotiation written and presentation skills To have the competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is often preferred. A professional qualification is essential for this job role Experience: Several years of experience in operations management, with proven track record of improving processes and achieving results. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
