Job Title: Business AnalystReporting to: DirectorWorking Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and additional hours) Salary: Competitive based on knowledge, skills & experience Company: E Media GroupLocation: Head Office – IG2 7BS A Business Analyst will play a critical role in assessing an organization's business needs and objectives and providing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves analysing data, processes, and systems to make informed recommendations for improvement. The Role: The Business Analyst will identify problems concerned with business strategy, policy, organisation, procedures, methods and markets To collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. To create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and system configurations. To determine the appropriate method of data collection and interpret information gained to then implement recommendations and solutions To assist in project planning and execution by defining project scopes, objectives, and timelines. Monitor the impact of implemented solutions and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Ensure the businesses processes and systems comply with industry regulations and standards. Evaluate software applications, tooland systems to ensure they align with business objectives and recommend enhancements or replacements if needed. Collaborate with Directors to understand their business goals and gather detailed requirements for projects and initiatives. Skills: To have exceptional attention to detail Able to display Project management skills To be people oriented and results driven To excellent active listening, negotiation written and presentation skills To have the competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders To work well under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent organisation skills and time management Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information technology, or a related field is required Masters degree in a relevant subject would be highly advantageous Professional qualifications related to industry is highly desirable Experience: Project management experience and familiarity with project management methodologies Atleast two years working in a similar role with proven work experience
