Finance Director * Sector: Manufacturing* Location: Worcestershire We are thrilled to be working with the UKs leading producer of PET bottles and containers, with a diverse clientele across the UK and Europe. As they continue their growth trajectory, they are looking for a dynamic Finance Director to elevate their financial strategy and lead the organization to new heights. About the Role: The Finance Director will be pivotal in shaping their financial strategy, driving rapid growth and operational excellence. As a key member of the Executive team, you will lead a dedicated finance department, ensuring robust financial management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. You will act as a strategic Business Partner to the CEO and senior leadership, providing clear, precise financial insights for decision:making and improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading budgeting and forecasting processes, maintaining financial models, and developing standardized planning templates. You will lead a team of six finance professionals, all reporting directly to you. Candidate Profile: * Strategic Leader: An ambitious finance professional ready to drive change and spearhead improvements beyond traditional financial roles.* Business Acumen: Strong financial technical skills combined with a deep understanding of business operations to support and implement necessary changes.* Confident and Experienced: Capable of adding value to the team and delivering exceptional financial business partnership to the CEO.* People:Oriented: Strong character with the ability to mentor, coach, and inspire the team towards better business and management practices. Required Experience: * Proven track record as a Finance Director or in a similar leadership role, preferably in a fast:paced, high:growth manufacturing environment.* Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a history of enhancing financial performance.* Exceptional leadership and team management experience.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.* Deep knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance.
