Job Title: Multi:Skilled Maintenance Technician Industry: Manufacturing Department: Maintenance Location: Mountain Ash Contract: Salaried, permanent. Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating 3am : 2pm, 2pm : 10pm and 10pm : 6am Salary: Up to A GBP 50,000 p/a dependent on experience Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, looking for a new opportunity ? Would you like to work for a successful, market leading manufacturing business supplying high quality parts and service to multiple markets including Medical, Automotive, Consumer and IT ? The Role Working as aprt of an established team, providing Planned, Preventative and Reactive Breakdown Maintenance to a variety of production machines. Ensuring maximum production capacity, within a safe working environment. Key Accountabilities * Demonstrate effective technical skills to support our manufacturing operation.* Operate in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, departmental procedures, company policy and GMP.* Work as part of a team to ensure targets for delivery, quality and efficiency are met.* Implement planned and preventative maintenance schedules.* Communicate problems and issues which impact manufacturing schedules or maintenance plans.* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Essential * HNC or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline* Experience of fault finding and repairing hydraulic systems and components.* Experience of working with pneumatic systems.* Experience of carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs and installation work.* Experience of working with and fault finding on PLC controlled systems, sensors switches etc.* Experience of working on facilities, maintenance and routine checks, carrying out regular fire system tests etc.* Experience in computer systems within a production environment.* Experience of using drawing, manuals and circuit diagrams as appropriate.* Experience of and comfortable with working in a fast:paced environment. Ideally * Experience of monitoring cooling tower systems to comply with L8 Legionella controls.* Self :motivated* Team player* Used to and able to work under pressure* Experience of working on injection moulding machines and associated ancillary equipment will be highly advantageous.
