We are looking for an Senior Program Manager to join the Team at our site in Slough on a 12 month FTC basis there could be an opportunity also for this role to go permanent. The Senior Program Manager will have responsibility and accountability of multiple projects across different sites and R&D areas within Lonza. You will collaborate with Project Leads to ensure the activities, budgets and deliverables are met within timeframes and customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to be part of a customer focused and results driven team. Key responsibilities: * Collaborate with Project Leads to develop and manage program and project scope, budgets and deliverables and understand risks; ensure alignment with major stakeholders (such as CoE Directors, Commercial Development, Operations) * Maintain accurate live program and project information and status in consultation with Project Lead and as outcome from regular team meetings, which the Senior Program Managers chairs. * Prioritize and manage multiple projects and programs with overlapping deadlines across different modalities and locations * Support and motivate multi-disciplinary program and project teams; keep team members accountable to deliver and informed of any projects linked to their own. * Conduct Program and Team Meetings with both internal and external stakeholders * Influence senior management to secure required resources and capacity commitments and obtain buy-in of all relevant stakeholders. * Represent the Innovation Portfolio within the Lonza Network and be a project advocate. Key requirements: * MSc in a relevant scientific field (PhD desirable) * Experience of managing internal and external stakeholders * Knowledge of mammalian expression and biomanufacturing process desirable * Proven experience of program and project management * Excellent communication skills.
