Early Years PractitionerEarly Years Practitioner Start date: ASAPLocation: SloughContract: Initially 3 monthsRate of pay: £14.24ltd per hourJob DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join Slough Bororugh Council. The Early Years Practitioner will provide full care and supervision for the children, ensuring that all their needs are met and working in close partnership with staff from local primary schools to provide fully integrated care and education and smooth transition from one phase to the next.Key Responsibilities Implementing operational plans and proceduresDelivering curriculum and educational programmesProviding full care and supervision for the childrenWorking in close partnership with staff from local primary schoolsEnsuring that the settings resources are used cost-effectivelyPromoting high standards of behavioral and disciplineUpholding and promoting the settings policies on equalities and inclusionImplementing all other of the settings policies and proceduresAssisting with marketing activitiesWorking in partnership with staff from schools and agenciesAttending planning and staff meetings as requiredWorking in any of the services Children's Centre's and early years settings as requiredUndertaking any other duties which may become necessary to ensure the successful running of the setting Requirements A Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification or equivalentExperience working with children aged 0-5 years oldExcellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and OFSTED standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a teamFlexibility and adaptability How to ApplyIf you are interested in this Early Years Practitioner position, please submit your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role.
