Registered Care Home Nurse Purpose of the Role As a nurse in this large care home, you will play a crucial role in providing high:quality nursing care to residents. Working as a member of the nursing team, you will deliver all relevant forms of care in collaboration with other nurse practitioners. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the well:being and health of elderly residents or those with various medical conditions. You will also be involved in regular supervision as part of your role. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Work as part of an efficient team to ensure the smooth running of the home. * Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify care priorities.* Administer medication and treatments within NMC guidelines.* Report any health concerns among residents and request GP/professional visits when necessary.* Ensure residents care plans are completed, maintained, and reviewed regularly.* Provide health supervision and direct nursing care as needed.* Maintain accurate records and ensure each resident has an individualized care plan.* Deliver high standards of nursing and social care based on care plans and residents needs.* Conduct regular checks on residents health, safety, and well:being. * Support new staff members in all aspects of their work, providing guidance and assistance as needed. * Mentor new and less experienced staff members, offering relevant training and coaching.
