The role of Catering Assistant is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as General Assistant. The role of Catering Assistant will include: :Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards :Working with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure a high standard of services:Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas, and customers' flats:Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment:Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes Skills and experiences: :Some experience of working in a catering/hospitality environment is desirable:Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable:Good interpersonal and customer service skills:A general understanding of health and safety in the work place:NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering, or willing to work towards is desirable Are you ready to be your best?
