Vehicle Washer We are looking for washers to join ourteam at at Fifth Way, Avonmouth Trading Estate, Avonmouth, Avon, BS11 8DT, on an initial 15 hour week contract.You will be a dedicated and reliable individual. You will ensure all cleaning duties are delivered to a high standard Valeting and cleaning vehicles in all weather conditions Hours: Monday to Friday 17.00pm 20.00 15 hours per week Pay rate £11.44 per hour paid every 4 weeks Driving Licence (required) 3.5t an advantage as may have to move vehicles within depot What youll do External Washes · Cleaning 3.5 tonne vehicles to a high standard using a power washer to clean the outside of the vehicles.· Wash Vehicles with water and chemical solution, then rinse Vehicles with fresh water· Detail all four wheels and tires with a wheel brush and solution from a bucket. 2. Wash and rinse the front of the package car and windscreen· Wash and rinse the reflective side of the door mirrors· Wash and rinse the drivers side of the vehicle.· Wash and rinse the passenger side of the vehicle· Wash and rinse the rear of the vehicle Sweep and Wet mop hard surface floors· Maintaining cleanliness within the wash bays including wash points and other areas Carry out full valets to vehicles Internal cleaning of the drivers cab and cargo area includinga) step wells, b) windshield Inside, c) front dash, d) DOT safety equipment, fire extinguisher and reflector triangles)1. Remove all rubbish from cab area2. Clean all inside areas (front doors, upper windscreen panels etc)3. Clean windscreen and side windows (Door and 1/4 lights)4. Clean dash and instrument panel5. Clean engine cover6. Sweep and clean cab floor, steps and rear of seats6. Clean diad holder7. Sweep and clean cargo floor and shelves8. Afternoon/evening work consisting of a guaranteed 15 hours a week, NO prior experience required. This job entails cleaning and valeting parcel vans. Full training will be provided on the job.
