Position: Foreman Fitter Location: Livingstone Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 45,000 Shift: Monday : Friday Days Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Foreman Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, leading a team of fitters, and ensuring the smooth operation of our plant. If you have a strong background in plant machinery maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency, we invite you for this exciting opportunity. Responsibilities: : Lead and coordinate a team of fitters in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. : Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures. : Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. : Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities. : Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. : Train and mentor junior fitters to enhance their skills and knowledge. : Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
