Management Accountant Hospitality Derbyshire : South Normanton (hybrid) Up to A GBP 42k We are working with a group that owns and operates an established estate of high:quality food and drinks pubs in and around several districts in and around the Midlands. Hospitality, multi:site experience is a must for this role, alongside strong management accountant experience. You will also ensure accurate general ledger balances, timely end:of:month processes, accurate relevant financial reporting and sufficient controls are maintained. Job Responsibilities : * Provide all management accounts for all group companies including commentary on performance, KPIs and budget/forecast variances.* Preparation of year:end balance sheet analysis for quarterly reporting.* Daily reporting and commentary on sales performance to directors and heads of Departments.* Preparation of annual statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors.* Assisting the Finance Manager with implementing/improving processes and controls.* Assisting in formulating the Companys financial and business strategy per the medium: and long:term objectives determined by the Board.* Till data analysis.* Management and optimisation of the group tax position for corporate and VAT to mitigate tax risk. The successful candidate : * A Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant.* Hospitality, ideally multi:site experience, including setting and managing budgets and forecasts, presenting analysis and sound commercial decision:making.* Commercial mindset and a knowledge of process improvement.* Excellent knowledge of Budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.* Excellent communication skills.
