Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for a 12- 18 month maternity cover. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of hotel room operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance. This role is a critical leadership position within our organisation, requiring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on management. Good knowledge of sales and revenue is a key factor for this role. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to brand standards. Guest Experience: Champion guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing guest feedback promptly and effectively. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the hotel team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short-term strategies to support the hotel's long-term objectives. Qualifications: Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a guest-focused mindset. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
