Position: HR Manager Location: Paddington, London Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience About Us: We are a leading healthcare company specialising in audiology services, committed to providing exceptional patient care and innovative solutions. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager who is CIPD qualified and has extensive experience in HR within a healthcare or clinical setting. This role is crucial for delivering a high-quality, effective, and efficient HR function that supports our organisational priorities and strategic objectives. The Role: The HR Manager is responsible for providing strategic HR direction to support high-quality patient care, staff experience, efficiencies, and the organisations strategic objectives. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to support business and workforce planning, transformation, engagement, workforce performance, and embedding good HR practices. Key Responsibilities: Lead various workforce projects, ensuring timely and resource-efficient delivery. Prepare and present reports to appropriate management as required. Develop key performance indicators and monitor their effectiveness. Oversee the organisations payroll process, ensuring staff are paid correctly and timely. Develop and deliver a high-quality HR service. Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, highlighting human resource implications of service developments. Develop and operationalise the People & Culture strategy, aligning actions with organisational priorities. Provide leadership support for HR functions, facilitating transformational change. Lead the development and implementation of staff experience, recognition, and engagement initiatives. Develop and implement HR systems and policies to ensure compliance with employment law. Lead the strategy for recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent. Manage employee relations, including handling grievances and disciplinary actions. Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Conduct performance management processes to drive organisational success. Advise management on HR planning and strategic decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting and record keeping. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Utilise data analysis and stakeholder feedback to drive informed decision-making. Confidentiality: The post-holder will handle sensitive information relating to patients, staff, and the organisation, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. Health and Safety: Assist in promoting and maintaining health, safety, and security as defined in the organisation's Health and Safety policy. Safeguarding: Ensure the risk of harm to children and vulnerable adults is minimised, taking appropriate actions to address concerns in line with local policies and procedures. Infection Control: Maintain knowledge of infection prevention and control practices, complying with mandatory training requirements. Equality and Diversity: Support the equality, diversity, and rights of patients, carers, and colleagues. Person Specification: Essential: Level 7 CIPD educated (or equivalent), with highly specialist knowledge obtained through significant post-qualification experience. Specialist knowledge of a range of complex HR topics including Learning & Development, Resourcing, Workforce Information, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and Employment Relations. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and strategic workforce issues. Significant experience in People and OD activities, working with managers to deliver high-quality HR services. Experience leading workforce aspects of major change programmes. Successful experience in team management. Extensive experience in private medical/healthcare clinic settings. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information. Proven ability to challenge underperformance and communicate high expectations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Desirable: Evidence of ongoing learning and continuous professional development. Experience in developing and implementing workforce strategies. Experience in managing payroll processes. Knowledge of local policies and procedures in the healthcare sector.
