Position : Locum Audiologist Location : Various, as required Working Hours : Ad hoc basis, subject to clinic needs About the Role :We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Audiologist to join our dynamic audiology team. This role requires flexibility to work across various locations, delivering high-quality audiological services on an ad hoc basis. You will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive hearing assessments, expert advice on hearing solutions, and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments to identify hearing impairments. Offer professional advice on and fitting of hearing aids from leading manufacturers such as Phonak, Oticon, and Starkey, tailored to patient needs. Provide counselling to patients and their families on hearing health and effective communication strategies. Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care. Commit to continuous professional development to ensure the highest standard of care and stay informed of the latest industry advancements. Requirements : HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) licensed Audiologist. A strong background in audiology, with proven experience dispensing Phonak, Oticon, and Starkey hearing aids. Ability to travel between clinics as needed; a valid driving licence is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Commitment to professional development and adherence to the latest industry standards and practices. Compensation : Competitive hourly rate of £45, reflecting the expertise and flexibility required for the role.
