IMMEDIATE 3.5 TONNE HOME DELIVERY DRIVERS REQUIREDOur client is a leading home furnishing brand so van delivery will involve furniture removal work, some heavy lifting will be involved but you will have a drivers mate on hand to help.You will be required to deliver furniture and other household products to customers across London and the surrounding South East areas.Good customer service skills are essential as you will be working in customers homes delivering and installing furniture with regular feedback encouraged on drivers and porters from all customers. You will be an ambassador for the clients renown brand, doing your best to ensure the customer has a fantastic experience on each house visit. It should be noted that due to our products being large and bulky items of furniture, you should be able to lift items of varying weights as part of a 2-person team.Standard Van driver hours are Monday Friday 06am start, although some flexibility with these hours is required. There is also the occasional work every other Saturday.Parking is available on site. The pay rate for this role is £13.25 per hour PAYE there are opportunities to apply for permanent roles.Work is available immediately so please apply today by emailing your CV or calling direct to our office for immediate consideration.To be successful in this role we require you to have the following qualifications, skills and experience :A valid UK driving licence Cat B entitlement to drive a 3.5T vehicle.Previous commercial driving experience in a 3.5t van vehicleAbility to lift and manoeuvre heavy items of furniture with manual handling experienceDesirable experience of using a PDAPreferable experience of doing 'home' deliveriesAble to work well with others, having good communication skills and work as part of a teamOrganised and able to manage your workload and associated paperworkKeen to learn about our products and be able to explain product information and answer any customer questions on siteApply now!
